Flagstaff Food Bank
The Flagstaff Food Bank pays and administrative fee to FFCS to coordinate and do intake for the food bank which serves all 9 Municipalities. This partnership began in December 2021 as a pilot project and will be evaluated annually for effectiveness. FFCS has developed a standard hamper and is working on designing the ongoing budget of the Food Bank.
Low German Mennonite Assistance Program
This is a program funded by Flagstaff County and administered by FFCS. It began in 2011 and is run by Holly Bovencamp who. FCS/FIRST – Youth Risk Committee – Includes RCMP, EMS, Regional Fire, AHS, AB Traffic and Safety (Operational until 2020)
This committee works together with members from the Camrose area as well. In the past we have sponsored Safety Fairs in Hardisty, Killam and Forestburg, Memorial Benches in Daysland and Forestburg and had numerous speakers about safety in all Schools. A lot of this funding comes from Alberta Traffic Safety Fund grants.

Interagency Host
FFCS hosts monthly meetings of the front-line human services workers to remain connected. Monthly meeting on the 1st Tuesday of every month from 12 noon to 1 pm. All are welcome to attend.
Counselling: General Family Counselling
Karen Bovencamp is a Registered Counselling Therapist with the Association of Therapy of Alberta and a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) serving the Flagstaff County area. Karen has part-time availability, and all appointments are made through the FFCS phone line and staff.
Seniors FIRST
Seniors FIRST employee is Donna Coombs and also funded by the Flagstaff Community Foundation and other grants like New Horizons for seniors grant when available and approved. Donna comes to Flagstaff to many Senior’s Centres.
